Asking Questions | Seeking Truth
AMPED, A Ministry Preparing Empowered Disciples is about building a healthy and safe environment to ask legitimate questions about the Faith and about our Savior. In order to do that, we seek to build intimate and long-lasting relationships with one another, build on those you already have and ultimately grow closer in your relationship to our heavenly Father. Our mission is to have His truth on our minds and His love in our hearts and actions.
The relationships we build here do not end when you walk out the doors. We want to encourage our youth to take these relationships they have built into the world and stand firm with each other in the spiritual warfare that is unleashed in the schools and community. War has been declared. The younger generation is under a spiritual attack that is meant to seek and destroy our youth. The evidence of this assault is apparent everyday – found in the rising numbers of teenage pregnancies, escalating abortions, questions of gender identity, homosexual rights… and the list goes on.
It is time to fight back with real and true answers! At AMPED we are countering this Cultural Revolution by introducing the next generation of teachers, athletes and leaders to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Bible teaching, worship and strong fellowship, we are providing an uplifting place for the young men and women to discover who they are in Christ. Our goal is to encourage personal growth through every step of their walk with our Lord and Savior.
AMPED meets on Wednesday nights at 7pm in the Sanctuary at Crosspoint Church.
F.R.O.G. Children’s Church
F.R.O.G. Children’s Church is a place of wonder and discovery where children are constantly given the opportunity to learn Bible truths. Our goal for each and every service is to create an environment that will be both educational and entertaining. We want to capture your children’s imaginations, intrigue them and set them on a course of discovery. Our ultimate goal is that of leading each child into a real and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
When your children arrive, they will be greeted by our children’s pastors, Joshua and Margerie Collie. These leaders love the Lord with all their hearts and are completely committed to the safety of your child. The children’s church area is a safe and clean environment that is totally geared toward the betterment and education of each child.
We invite your children to become a part of this growing, exciting ministry. Watch God do amazing things in their lives as they learn more about Him! We can’t wait to meet your children and help them find their place in our F.R.O.G. Children’s Church community.
F.R.O.G. Children’s Ministry meets on Sundays at 10:30 AM and on Wednesdays at 7 PM in the Children’s Center.
Paradox Men’s Ministry
The need for responsible and devoted men has never been greater than it is today. The journey of genuine manhood begins with a personal relationship with the Creator and the goal of Crosspoint Church is to lead men in this unmistakable direction. Manhood flourishes and matures in an environment of interpersonal relationships involving family and friends.
This has become a paradox for us men who must lead our homes with integrity, righteousness, and obedience as husbands, fathers, and leaders who are told that manhood is designated upon us when we lose our virginity, hunt our first deer, get married, have our first child, and the list goes on so that men never truly achieve manhood according to the world’s relative standards. The purpose of Paradox Men’s Ministry is to speak life over our men and establish His standards instead. We help men discover their distinctiveness as husbands, fathers, businessmen, and leaders. The men’s ministry at Crosspoint accomplishes these goals through a variety of avenues and utilizes every available resource to achieve this end.
Paradox Men’s ministry meets every first Saturday of the month at 10am-12pm.
Older Wiser Livelier
The Senior’s Ministry of Crosspoint Church is a vital component to the overall health and vitality of our congregation. Seniors are not an afterthought, but are an integral and energized aspect of our church family. Seniors in our church are encouraged to employ their abilities and talents for the work of God. We cherish the wisdom and relish the insight we are given from those who have walked the road of faith before us.
The Senior’s Ministry at Crosspoint is actively engaged in times of fun and camaraderie. Bi-monthly activities are planned that energize the body, sharpen the mind and invigorate the spirit. If you are over 55, we are looking for you!
